印第安纳阳光舞蹈队简介

阳光舞蹈队成立于2004年，是印第安纳波利斯华人社区最早成立的舞蹈团体之一，多年来始终是ICCCI（印城华夏文化中心）各类演出的中坚力量。从大型游行到春节晚会，从主流赛事到社区庆典，几乎每一个重要舞台上都有阳光舞蹈队的身影。舞蹈队以传承和推广中华舞蹈艺术、服务华人社区为宗旨，为一代代在美国成长的华裔孩子搭建起学习舞蹈、亲近文化根脉的平台。

2004年，ICCCI第一次组队参加印第安纳波利斯久负盛名的Indy 500大游行，阳光舞蹈队便是其中的一员，自此与这一盛事结下不解之缘。2006年至2008年间，舞蹈队又积极投身于为2008年北京奥运会提升中华形象的系列文化活动，以充满民族特色的舞蹈，向美国主流社会展示中华文化的魅力。在日常排练中，指导老师因地制宜，将中国民族民间舞与芭蕾、现代舞的科学训练相结合，既保护了发育期青少年的身体，又让孩子们在增强体魄、舒缓压力的同时，加深了对自身文化根源的认同与族裔自豪感。

作为ICCCI演出的中坚力量，阳光舞蹈队平均每年完成10场以上的各类演出，足迹覆盖印第安纳州及周边地区。舞蹈队累计参加17次Indy 500大游行，4次受邀在NBA印第安纳步行者队（Indiana Pacers）比赛中场登台；曾5次赴芝加哥参加华人春节游行、4次受邀参与芝加哥麦当劳感恩节大游行；并常态化参与7次Carmel独立日游行、Carmel国际艺术节及Westfield国际文化节等周边城市的节庆演出。作为ICCCI的核心队伍，舞蹈队更是从未缺席本地最大的华人盛事，累计参与14次ICCCI春节联欢晚会，编排的《桃花美》等节目已成为节日中的经典保留项目。此外，舞蹈队还坚持定期前往本地老人院公益义演，在关怀长者的同时，培养年轻一代的社会责任感。

自2004年成立以来，印第安纳阳光舞蹈队已走过二十余年的发展历程。她们不仅是ICCCI舞台上当之无愧的中坚力量，也成为本地华人社区和多元文化交流的一张亮丽名片。未来，阳光舞蹈队将继续秉持服务社区的宗旨，用舞蹈这一艺术形式，为印第安纳的多元文化生态持续贡献力量。

Sunshine Dance Team

Founded in 2004, the Sunshine Dance Team is one of the earliest dance groups established in the Indianapolis Chinese community, and over the years it has remained a backbone of ICCCI (Indianapolis Chinese Community Center, Inc.) performances. From large parades to Lunar New Year galas, from mainstream sporting events to community celebrations, the Sunshine Dance Team has been a presence on nearly every major stage. Dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of Chinese dance and to serving the Chinese community, the team has built a platform where generation after generation of Chinese American children can learn dance and stay connected to their cultural roots.

In 2004, when ICCCI took part in the renowned Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade for the first time, the Sunshine Dance Team was among its members, beginning a lasting bond with this celebrated event. From 2006 to 2008, the team actively joined a series of cultural activities promoting China’s image ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, showcasing the beauty of Chinese culture to mainstream American audiences through dance rich in ethnic character. In day-to-day rehearsals, the instructors adapt their choreography to local conditions, blending Chinese folk dance with the scientific training of ballet and modern dance. This approach protects the bodies of growing young dancers while helping the children build physical strength, relieve stress, and deepen their sense of cultural identity and ethnic pride.

As a backbone of ICCCI’s performances, the Sunshine Dance Team completes an average of more than ten performances each year, with a presence across Indiana and neighboring regions. The team has taken part in the Indy 500 Festival Parade 17 times and has been invited to perform during halftime at NBA Indiana Pacers games on 4 occasions. It has traveled to Chicago 5 times for the Chinese New Year Parade and been invited 4 times to the Chicago McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade, and it regularly appears at celebrations in surrounding cities, including the Carmel Independence Day Parade 7 times, the Carmel International Arts Festival, and the Westfield International Festival. As a core group within ICCCI, the team has never missed the community’s largest Chinese cultural event, performing at the ICCCI Chinese New Year Gala 14 times; signature numbers such as “Peach Blossom Beauty” have become cherished staples of local festivities. The team also makes regular charitable visits to local senior homes, comforting elders while cultivating a sense of social responsibility in its younger members.

Since its founding in 2004, the Sunshine Dance Team has grown over more than two decades. It is not only a true backbone of the ICCCI stage but also a bright calling card for the local Chinese community and for cross-cultural exchange. Looking ahead, the Sunshine Dance Team will continue its mission of serving the community, contributing to the rich multicultural life of Indiana through the art of dance.

龙，是中华民族最重要的文化图腾之一。数千年来，龙象征着力量、吉祥、团结与奋进精神。每逢春节、庆典、丰收和重大节日，舞龙表演总是最受欢迎的传统民俗活动之一。伴随着激昂的锣鼓声，一条巨龙时而腾空而起，时而翻江倒海，展现出中华文化的独特魅力和蓬勃生命力。

在美国印第安纳州，ICCCI舞龙队自2004年成立以来，一直致力于弘扬中华传统文化，让更多美国民众近距离感受中国文化的魅力。二十多年来，舞龙队活跃于各类社区庆典、文化交流和大型游行活动，成为当地最具代表性的华人文化表演团队之一。

ICCCI舞龙队曾多次受邀参加美国知名活动，包括印第安纳波利斯500大赛游行（Indy 500 Parade）、芝加哥麦当劳感恩节大游行（Chicago McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade）、芝加哥中国城新年游行（Chicago Chinatown Chinese New Year Parade）、卡梅尔节庆游行（CarmelFest Parade）等大型活动。每当金龙腾跃、鼓声震天时，总能吸引沿途观众驻足观看，赢得阵阵掌声与喝彩。

多年来，ICCCI舞龙队不仅展示了中国传统艺术的精彩与活力，也成为促进中美文化交流的重要桥梁。队员们来自不同年龄和职业背景，大家怀着对中华文化的热爱，自愿投入训练和演出之中。无论是酷暑严寒，还是长途奔波，队员们始终以饱满的热情投入每一次表演，用实际行动传承中华文化。

Bringing Chinese Culture to Life in the American Midwest: The ICCCI Dragon Dance Team and the Tradition of Chinese Dragon Dance

The dragon is one  of the most important cultural symbols of the Chinese nation. For thousands of years, it has represented strength, prosperity, good fortune, and unity. During Chinese New Year celebrations, festivals, harvest events, and major community gatherings, dragon dances have long been among the most beloved traditional performances. Accompanied by the powerful rhythms of drums, cymbals, and gongs, a dragon appears to soar through the sky and ripple like waves across the sea, captivating audiences and showcasing the vitality and beauty of Chinese culture.

Founded in 2004, the ICCCI Dragon Dance Team of the Indianapolis Chinese Community Center (ICCCI) has been dedicated to preserving and promoting Chinese cultural heritage while sharing its richness with the broader American community. For more than two decades, the team has participated in numerous cultural festivals, community celebrations, and major parades, becoming one of the most recognizable and respected Chinese cultural performance groups in Indiana.

Over the years, the ICCCI Dragon Dance Team has proudly participated in many prestigious events, including the Indy 500 Parade, the Chicago McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade, the Chicago Chinatown Chinese New Year Parade, the CarmelFest Parade, and many other community celebrations throughout the Midwest. Wherever the dragon appears, its vibrant movements, accompanied by the thunderous sounds of traditional percussion, draw enthusiastic crowds and generate excitement among spectators of all ages.

Nana’s Cube · Cadence 是一支面向儿童的舞蹈表演团队，以孩子的心理健康与身体发育为首要原则，注重在安全、愉悦的团队氛围中培养艺术感知、身体协调与自信表达。 舞蹈队的作品融合中文歌曲、儿童现代舞、儿童民族舞、古典舞身韵及幼儿舞蹈等多种形式，并根据孩子的年龄特点进行编排与呈现。孩子们享受快乐的同时与中华文化根源进行连接。

Nana’s Cube · Cadence is a children’s dance performance team dedicated to supporting children’s emotional well-being, physical development, and artistic growth.

The team presents Chinese songs, children’s contemporary dance, Chinese folk dance, classical Chinese dance, and age-appropriate performances for young children. Through rehearsal and stage performance, children develop coordination, confidence, and self-expression while also discovering Chinese culture and building a stronger connection with their cultural heritage.

Nana’s Cube · Legacy 是一支以中国民族舞蹈为核心的成人舞蹈表演团队，致力于通过专业、细致的排练，展现不同民族舞蹈的风格、气韵与文化内涵。

舞蹈队以舞台演出和文化展示为主要形式，通过具有民族特色的动作、音乐与服饰，呈现中华民族文化的多样之美，让观众感受中国民族舞蹈独特的文化美学与肢体表达。

Nana’s Cube · Legacy is an adult dance performance team dedicated to presenting the artistry and cultural heritage of Chinese ethnic dance.

Through stage performances and cultural showcases, the team brings together distinctive movement, music, and traditional costumes to highlight the beauty and diversity of Chinese culture. Each performance offers audiences a glimpse into the unique aesthetics, spirit, and expressive power of Chinese ethnic dance.

印城华夏文化中心华人合唱团（ICCCI Chinese Chorus）成立于1996年，是隶属于印城华夏文化中心（ICCCI）的华人艺术团体，具有广泛的影响力，现有团员约60人。

三十年来，合唱团以歌声传播中华文化，促进多元文化交流，活跃于春节联欢晚会、中国文化节、印第安纳大学“中国之夜”等社区活动，累计观众数以万计。合唱团曾参与《黄河大合唱》《岁月甘泉》等大型音乐会，并登上纽约卡内基音乐厅、悉尼歌剧院等国际舞台。

The ICCCI Chinese Chorus, founded in 1996, is a Chinese performing arts ensemble affiliated with the Indianapolis Chinese Community Center, Inc. (ICCCI), with broad influence in the community and approximately 60 members.

The chorus regularly performs at community events such as Chinese New Year celebrations, cultural festivals, and Indiana University’s China Night, reaching tens of thousands of audience members over the years. It has also participated in major productions including The Yellow River Cantata and Ask the Sky and The Earth, and has performed on renowned stages such as Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House.

Show Group is a community dance team of ICCCI dedicated to promoting health, friendship, and cultural connection through dance. United by a shared passion for movement, our members enrich their lives while giving back to the community.

For many years, Show Group has participated in community service and cultural events organized by ICCCI, performing at schools, senior centers, Chinese New Year celebrations, International Festivals, Asian Festivals, and other community gatherings. Through dance, we celebrate cultural diversity, spread joy and warmth, and bring art into everyday life, helping build a more open, inclusive, and vibrant community.

ICCCI Dance Group was established in 2005. We are one of most senior ICCCI activity groups. We are a group of ladies and gentlemen (invited) who love dance, music, share a passion for the performing art and commitment to cultural, enjoy social activities and friendship. Over more than 20 years we dedicated preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich heritage of elegant Chinese folk, ethnic dance, as well as traditional costumes – Qipou show through artistic excellent. We are determined to provide excellence to our audience by committing ourselves to practicing dance almost every week for the past 20 years.

The dance group has been a proud participant in the annual Chinese New Year celebration, Indy 500 Parade, Carmel July 4th Parade, as well as Indianapolis International festival, many local community multicultural Festivals, schools and some private companies.

Over the past two decades, the ICCCI Dance Group has grown into much more than a performing arts group. It has become a place where friendships flourish, memories are created, and lives are enriched. For many members, it is a second home—a community where we laugh together, learn together, celebrate milestones, and support one another through life’s ups and downs. The bonds we have built through dance are founded on friendship, kindness, respect, and mutual care. This unique spirit has become the cornerstone of our group and one of our greatest treasures.

由 ICCCI 印第安纳波利斯华人社区中心倾力打造的2026 印城华人春节联欢会，定档 2 月 8 日周日，在 Zionsville High School 热热闹闹开场！这一天，咱们不仅能沉浸式感受中华文化的魅力，还能和各族裔朋友一起，嗨翻天！

早 11 点开始，童趣嘉年华先上线！带着家里的娃来撒欢，各种趣味小游戏玩到过瘾。重头戏当然是下午 3 点拉开帷幕的舞台汇演，35 个节目轮番炸场，精彩根本停不下来！

你能看到醒狮队舞出《三英战吕布》的飒爽英姿，锣鼓一响，年味直接拉满；蒙古族舞《山顶》的豪放、藏族舞《起舞》的灵动、胶州秧歌舞《抬龙王》的喜庆，舞步一转，就把山河烂漫搬到眼前；二胡与乐队合奏《战马奔腾》，弓弦震颤间，仿佛能听见千军万马的呼啸！

还有京剧名段字正腔圆，相声《小小留学生》逗得人捧腹大笑，魔术《魔术变奏曲》带你解锁奇幻时刻，旗袍秀的大姐姐小姐姐们款款走来，一颦一笑都是东方韵味。更惊喜的是，印度舞、菲律宾舞轮番登场，中外文化碰撞出别样火花，这才是国际范儿的新春派对嘛！

中场休息的抽奖环节别忘了蹲守，幸运好礼说不定就砸中你！最后跟着《开门红》的欢快舞步，一起把新春的好彩头跳出来～
